About MJ/Select Soccer

What is MJ/Select Soccer?

MJ Stands for "Multi Jurisdictional"

MJ soccer is a league separate from house league. In Select soccer, the team will play other select teams from the Hamilton & District. This is a traveling league which means that you will have away games and home games. MJ soccer is for the child who has an interest in competitive soccer in a developmental atmosphere.

Where will we travel to for games?

All teams in the league are from the Hamilton & District. Currently, there are teams from Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster and Brantford in the league.

What nights will we play on?

Typically, game nights are on Friday evenings. However, some age groups will have an occasional game on another night through the week.

What about practices?

Each select team is guaranteed 1 practice time per week. Your coach may choose to add additional practices.

How long is the MJ Soccer season?

League games begin in May and end in September.

Does it cost extra to play MJ soccer?

Yes, there are additional fees to play select soccer above the house league registration costs.
Your coach will set the amount after a budget is created.

MJ Information Sessions

The Flamborough Soccer Club will be hosting an INFORMATION SESSION for all boys and girls interested in participating in MJ Soccer for the 2010 Outdoor season. 

The Information session will be held on Saturday October 3rd at 9:30am at Joe Sam’s Leisure Park, Center Road, field #3.  This is not a practice/tryout but a meeting to explain what MJ soccer is and what’s involved in it.  All interested players and parents are welcome to attend and meet the coaches.

The FSC will be offering MJ teams in the following age groups:

U8Boys (2002 birth year)
U9Boys (2001 birth year)     U9Girls(2001 birth year)
U10Boys(2000 birth year)    U10Girls (2000 birth year)
